sooo thursday i rode and we did flat stuff only because i was having a bad vision day. but he was pretty good, we did lead changes, turn on the haunches and extensions and collections...

yea then friday i went with the orchestra to montclair university (or is it college? whatever) and we suck. like we are really pitiful.

then i found out cochise pulled a shoe (you know - 2 DAYS before pony club rating)
i wanted to DIE


then today... i went up to the barn around 9ish to find cochise's shoes in the paddock and wait for the farrier. well i must say i love this new farrier. He put cochise's shoe back on, trimmed his backs and touched up his fronts a little bit, and oiled his hooves for $25. Did i mention he had to drive about 20 minutes each way? really good deal

thenn i rode. and we did tiny fences for a little bit until people left the ring at which point i got of and put up a 3'3" oxer. francisca was watching us come to it and we were going sooooo slow. like he put in one more stride then i would've liked and it was ridiculous because i dont think he realized i changed it and though it was still a cross rail. So he goes OH! ITS BIGGGG! and jumps it virtually from a standstill and i fly upwards because he jumped so up and francisca's face was priceless. her jaw was on the ground and her eyes were popping out of her head. when i asked her how much he cleared it by she said atleast 2 feet and that he almost cleared the big standard (which is almost 5'6" i think) it was insane

thenn we jumped it normally a couple of times before i got off and highered it to 3'9". and he was perfect over it, once again went super slow and therefore rubbed it (my fault), but it stayed up. soo i ended with that

then i got to give him a bath because im rating to D2 for pony club tommorrow so he has to be spotless. and i cleaned my tack! i haven't done that since like january. but whatever it was really clean anyway.
